Even those who can't use words deserve to have their stories seen and heard. Just like this Whooping Crane pair here, everyone has a story to tell, and we always strive to do just that.

Wildlife!

Why?

I've always believed that no matter how small or insignificant something may seem, they deserve to be heard. I've always loved birds, and even more than that I've loved sharing what I've been lucky enough to capture of them. Even more than that, being able to help bring awareness to endangered species or honestly species people had no idea existed makes it all the better. I chose that Whooping Crane photo as the first one you see because there are only 2 wild flocks left, and one of them just so happens to winter in Texas, so each year I go to photograph them and share their journey. I want to share this love I have for all species, and help to tell their stories however we can,

Kemp's Ridley Sea Turtles

Aren't they so cute?

Every year at Padre Island National Seashore (PINS), the National Park program collects and helps hatch this endangered species of sea turtle. We've been lucky to be able to watch them get released for a couple of years, and it is so amazing to be there for their first moments.
